Uniden Mc 1020 -- No Sound

when I turn on the radio it lights up, the channels are displayed but there is no sound. I can turn the volume and squelch all the way up put again there is no sound. It acts like it does not have a speaker. How can I get it to operate properly? Thanks

Open the radio, look for disconnected or burnt wire. If you can't detect the fault please call for service.
