Appcam23 Says 'wrong Security Code'

NEW APPCam23 upon initial set up always says "Wrong Security Code" regardless of code I enter. I tried "123456" as suggested, I tried "12345678" as in router set up, and I tried setting my own code. This is the second cam I am trying to add to the initial camera that set up with no problems. Can I reset the APPCam23 to blank out whatever "wrong security code" is seems to have in its tiny lil brain?I also bought two APPCam21's, and wasted a day trying to make them work. At this point I have to conclude Uniden APPCam cameras are worthless 75% of the time. I am using an iPad - and of course the set up intstructions for iPad and IOS are outdated or just plain false. Even the APP they say to download is not available at the APP Store.

find and hold the reset button on the cord until you see the red light go out on front of camera " not blinking " hold for a few seconds and that should do the trick... it will go back to default code (123456)

Enter the camera's security code (Default = 123456). It is highly recommended that you change the security code.
