Limited Edition Mw3 Turtle Beaches Charlie

i have just unboxed my turtle beaches mw3 limited edition charlie i asked at the shop are these for ps3 he said yes but i have plugged them in i can hear others but they cant hear me and the instruction manual says pc or xbox 360 set up can someone tell me what to do
