Charging No Light

To test your battery, please follow the procedure below: > Shut down the tablet and disconnect the AC adapter.

> Remove the battery and clean the contacts. Please do not reinstall the battery at this time.

NOTE: Placement of the contacts may vary based on model.

> Reconnect the AC adapter then turn ON the computer.

> After it has started, shut down Windows (Please do not use Sleep OR Hibernate)

> Reinstall the battery and restart the computer. Please allow the battery to charge overnight.

NOTE: It may take a while for the battery light to come on.

Defective AC adapters, batteries, and hard drives can be identified by "Troubleshooting Assistant". This can also help you order a replacement. The replacement is free if your computer and the defective part are still covered under warranty. You will need to return the defective part to Toshiba and guarantee the return with your credit card for in-warranty units and parts.
