NOTE: Placement of the contacts may vary based on model.

Defective AC adapters, batteries, and hard drives can be identified by "Troubleshooting Assistant". This can also help you order a replacement. The replacement is free if your computer and the defective part are still covered under warranty. You will need to return the defective part to Toshiba and guarantee the return with your credit card for in-warranty units and parts.
