what do i need to hook up my toshiba c655 satelite laptop to a older rca t.v.

If the TV has a VGA input on it then you just need a VGA Cable. If not, you'll need an appropriate converter box such as a VGA-to-RCA converter or a VGA-to-HDMI converter depending on what inputs your TV has. If you want audio as well, you'll need a 3.5mm audio cable.
