Can I Repair A Damaged Power Adapter On My Toshiba A45-s1202?
The cord at the base of the transformer is sliced halfway through.

No. I do not suggest that you repair the damaged power adapter for your Toshiba Satellite A45-S1202. This is because wrong repair can lead to explosion of the battery or total failure of the laptop. I suggest that you replace the power adapter with a brand new one. You can buy it online from the following links.
