Microphone Does Not Work When Connected To Skype Service

There are only 2 important factors that you have to consider. These are the following.

1. Make sure that the audio driver software is installed into your computer system. The audio driver for this laptop can be downloaded here:

2. Make sure that the microphone you are trying to use is working properly.

With my Toshiba Satellite, I downloaded the latest sound driver from Toshiba. You may already have this driver. Then in the control panel, go to the audio manager (not "Sound", not "speach recogition options").  Look for a "device advance settings" or similar, and see if "separate all input jacks as independent input devices" is one of the options. I am no expert, worked for me.
