Most likely the lamp has failed. Go here for the manual, pages 98-100 for the lamp replacement procedure. Go here for a fair price for the lamp module. I suggest you pull the old lamp module and visually confirm the lamp has blown before ordering a replacement.

The blinking light usually indicates a hardware issue. You'll have to have the TV looked at and possibly serviced.
