My Toshiba Televsion Will Not Turn On Because Of A Blinking Red Rec. Light

If you know how to apply thermal paste and know how to solder, then you can fix the problems for about $12. You need an IC Q880 #23135089, part number of IC is STR-W6765. It is available on Amazon or Ebay. It is attached to a heat sink and soldered onto the power supply circuit board (upper right hand corner as viewed from back of TV). Requires removing the back and removing the circuit board. Remove old IC and replace with new one. Use thermal paste (like CPU paste) to attach to the heatsink.
