Brand New Mower Mowed Front Yard, Then Would Not Start When I Went To Mow The Ba

If the mower is new, it should still be under warranty.  Toro mowers are guaranteed to start on the 1st or 2nd pull during the warranty period, unless you abuse it or don't follow the maintenance (i.e. it runs out of oil, etc).  I'm assuming that you checked the gas & the oil--the obvious stuff.  Beyond that, there isn't enough information (symptoms, etc) to know what your issue is.

Is it an electric start or pull-start?  Does it turn over when you start it or pull it?  If so, does it make an attempt to fire up but then it sputters out, or are you unable to get any response?
