Hi, Yes, it has a power button on the base (top right side) that allows you to power it without the remote. You can also sync the unit to turn on/off with your TV as well.

How can I use soundbar without remote?
Simply connect your soundbar via the HDMI ARC cable. You also need this cable to transmit the sound from the TV to the soundbar. This function requires an HDMI cable of 1.4 or higher, but almost every new cable has this nowadays.
