Kdl52xbr9 Display Problem
When first turned on the picture is blurring/ghosting on the left hand side with horizontal lines running 3/4 across the screen (with or without HDMI input). After 5-10 minutes it clears up.

This is a common problem with these LCD panels (over $2500 for the replacement parts alone). I would call Sony and see what they can do to help offset the costs. Had it been the 46" it would be covered under a class action suit,
Oh yea, if it acts up and won't fix itself, you can grab the top corners of the TV and push on the right side and pull on the left to flex it slightly. If it goes into solid lines then power off then back on. good luck
