There is no "Recall" they have just increased the warranty to cover failures of some sets that have this issue: A very limited number of televisions after a period of time may exhibit blue dots, star patterns or shading on the screen.
They will cover the cost of the repair.
Recalls only are if there is a possibility of harm, such as automobiles and such.
