My Iphone And Ipod Touch Will Not Charge Using This Cd Player Anymore.

I first got the CDx-620ip in 2008 and was using an iPod touch with the deck. It worked and charged just fine. This year I got a new iPhone 3GS and a new Touch. Now, neither of them will charge when plugged in to the direct Apple line connector. They play music just fine but as soon as you plug in either device they both display a message saying "this device is not compatible and the apple device will not charge. Again, they play music but will not charge anymore. I'm assuming this has to do with the software os on the Apple devices since the older Touch would charge. Does anyone know if there is an update for either the Sony device or Apple devices to make them compatible so they will charge while connected and playing. If there are firmware/software updates available where can I get them and how do I install them. I can't believe I can't seem to find any topics on this searching online. Any help would be greatly aPpreciated. Thankyou. Brent
