Are There Issues Of The Cd Player Not Being Recognized After Working Well For Yr

the cd player stopped working after functioning for a year...the radio and aux part work fine. there were no error messages

Dust will eventually build up on the lens. You can purchase a CD cleaner which is basically a CD with a small brush on it. I've used on for years and while they are not perfect they do work.

If after that it still has issues I would suggest that you take it into a service shop. After years of use things do wear out, motors, lasers. These things are afterall, cheap and mass produced.
