My Stitches Are Too Loose, How Do I Adjust Them? Nk

When i am sewing a straight stitch they are do loose they come right out, I have adjusted stitch size but still no luck. The tension is on auto.

Most of your sewing will be done with the tension control dial (on top of the machine) set at "AUTO" .Helpful Hint: A slight adjustment to a higher number or alower number may improve sewing appearance.STRAIGHT STITCHINGThe correct appearance of your stitching is largely determinedby the balanced tension of both top and bobbin threads. Thetension is well balanced when these two threads 'lock' in themiddle of layers of the fabric you are sewing.you will need to adjust the tension control.A balanced tension (identical stitches both top and bottom) isusually only desirable for straight stitch sewing.
