Why is my Singer Confidence sewing machine beeping?

If the Singer Confidence Quilter model 7469Q sewing machine beeps when you press the foot control and it is not due to the buttonhole lever being down, then you must also make sure that the needle is set at the highest position. ... Also try pushing the reverse button a couple of times, this will reset the machine.

Why is my Singer Curvy beeping?

9 Answers. The Singer Athena will do this when the bobbin is threaded backwards... Sometimes it will sew for a few stitches - bunch the threads and then stop. Once that happens it will simply beep and not operate.
