Drawing Up Bobbin Thread

We cannnot get wheel on top rt to turn toward us to draw up bobbin thread. Help! This is brand new machine!

Go here for the procedure you are trying to accomplish.

If you can't manipulate the hand-wheel counterclockwise, then it could be defective, I suggest you return it to the store where purchased for exchange or refund.
