Can A Power Surge Mess Up Totals In Machine When Power Comes Back On?
Our totals for the day seem to be off after all power went off for a few seconds from lighting near by, then came back on. Machine functioned fine after power returned, but our total seems too much. Our cc machine was ruined & had to get a new one. Thanks

Normally I would laugh and say no way, but in the case of lightning strikes, it is very possible. If it toasted your other terminal, it was a direct strike on a power line which can cause unpredictable results. Once you reset the report, it will probably return to normal.
