Power On Tv Goes Out, Power 'on' Light Blinking Erratically

Hi, I have a Sharp LC-60LE640U that's only a few months old. Recently, particularly after long periods of watching (5 hours or so), the power/picture on the TV will go out, the power on indicator light (upward pointing white arrow) will flash erratically and there will be no response to the remote or buttons on the side of the set. I unplug the set for a while, plug back in, and I sometimes I have sound but no picture. I'm thinking either I have a bad power board or a problem with the backlight? It seems to improve and work for longer periods after I rest the TV for a day or overnight. I'm certainly still within the warranty period. Any thoughts?

contact Sharp and they will set up a service call to replace the bad board. When it acts up watch the blinking indicator and look for the code. It will blink a fast and slow count (for instance; two fast and one slow). don't forget to have the receipt.
