My Power Button And The Opc Button Are Flashing And I Have No Picture
we had a storm and all the other items and the tv were on a power surge and now the only thing not working is the picture screen the button for the power is flashing three times on the third flash the opc button flashes once

if the power flashes 3X and the OPC 1X then it is read as a start-up failure of the CPU chip on the main board (Initial communication from the main CPU is not received. Communication line failure or main CPU start-up failure). This failure will normally be the "Main" board and there is four different ones used in this model and the cost for the part is over $300 after the core is sent back for the $225 core cost. There is a possibility that the power board is damaged stopping this communication error. A technician should properly diagnose this set to give you your options.
