Sharp Lc-32d42u No Power

while watching tv my sharp lc-32d42u suddenly shut down and the power and opc lights flashed briefly then total shutdown. Now i can't turn on at all. Is there any way to diagnose or recreate flash light sequnce code.

If the set still has the power board supplying the needed voltages then unplug the AC cord, press and hold the [volume down] and [input] buttons on the TV keyboard. Then plug in the AC cord and release the buttons as soon as the power indicator turns solid green. This will force the set to power up, if the problem still exists then the set will still turn off, but a trained tech will be able to test circuits to help determine what is failing and counting the indicators blink code helps too. If the set never turns on then suspect the power board or a direct short on one of the boards it feeds causing the power board to not properly start up.
