Why Does Tv Shut Off When I Turn It On?

The TV has a problem. duh Some circuit is not functioning correctly and this is sensed by a detection circuit that then sends out the instruction to turn off, as the manufacture says, 'to prevent further damage to the set. ... This applies to other TV sets as well as to the Sharp TV Aquos.
