Wi'll Not Not Power Up.
Was working fine ... went to power off and "Good-bye" was displayed and seemed to lock up and would not power down ... unplugged and re-plugged the unit ... now won't power up ... display is dark.

It mentions a 'Protective Attachment Plug' which may be the cause of your problem. This will need verifying by testing with a multimeter or replacement. An enginneer would be able to give you more advice on this.
