I Have A Free Agent/desk External Drive 640 Gb I Have Never Used And Shows To Be

shows to be compatible with Windows XP/Vista Home Premium.  I currently have Vista Home Premium and am upgrading to a new computer with Windows 7.  Will I be able to save everything to the Free Agent and then transfer to my new computer, even though it doesn't show to be compatible with Windows 7?
