Projector Powers Down After 3 Minutes

It seems RUDDI may be incorrect. According to the manual:

When the filter cartridge replacement icon keeps appearing on the screen at turning on of the projector for some time and no action is taken to replace the filter cartridge, the projector will be automatically shut down in 3 minutes after power up to protect the projector. (See pages 71, 87)

– Do not cover the ventilation slots on the projector. (See pages 4, 6)

– Projector may be used in high ambient temperature environment. Make sure the temperature is not out of Operating Temperature (41F–104F [5C–40C]).
