Can A Samsung Sv1204h Hard Drive Be Installed Into A Dell Dimension 4700 Compute

Not directly as it has SATA interfaces. However if you want to just read the data from it then it could be connected to the CD/DVD connection and then appear as a drive. I would not recommend running in this mode as system slowdown will appear. This is a link to the Dell.

The Samsung drive you have is an IDE which is now old technology in disc terms.
