Chattering Noise Of Scanner Of Samsung Scx 4500 Printer
Hello,
the scanner of my Samsung SCX 4500 printer systematically produces a chattering noise after scanning 4-5 pages and from that moment on, the UPPER part of the preview image is OK, whereas the LOWER part looks like a striped multicolour wallpaper (I should have liked to append a screen print, but that's impossible here).
The noise probably is generated by a skipping toothed drive belt. The scan head systematically gets stuck after scanning 4 to 5 pages to PDF (same problem on my previous SCX 4500 replaced by Samsung technical support under guarantee).
The problem NEVER occurs in photocopy mode or when scanning to OCR.
