Freezer Not Working, But Refrigerator Cools Great. How To Fix?

I replaced the fan in the twin cooling plus refrigerator and the refrigerator cools great. The freezer quit working altogether. Could it be the defrost control board? Maybe the evaporator coils? Thanks.

Hey,

Ok so what i am understanding is there may b 2 issues:

1. Compressor Not Running Continuously

2.Freon Gas Problem

This problem is usually a result of a Freon gas issue. Basically what is happening here is the evaporator inside the freezer is not completely frosted over. This means the freezer is not producing enough cold air to freeze the contents of the freezer, but there is enough cold air being made to cool the contents of the refrigerator section.

The fastest and easiest way to find out if the unit has Freon is to turn it off and listen. When a compressor pumps Freon the evaporator pressure decreases and the condenser pressure increases
