Samsung Hx-du020ec Keeps Dropping Off (disconnecting)from My Mac 10.6.8

Samsung HX-DU020EC keeps dropping off (disconnecting)from my Mac 10.6.8. To re connect I have to turn power off and on several times to get it to be recognized by my Mac. Can some one please help.
