Hx-du010ec Not Working After Deleting All On It.

After clean up/deleting all on the external harddisk, i tryed to put in some pictures and it works ok - byt thereafter i tryed to conected it up to a foto frame but then the messages came up " media format not supported" Is there some software i have to re-install again?
