Tv Wont Turn On
my samsung tv was making a loud terrible noise when first turned on but now when i tried to turn it on it would flash the lamp light and the standbye light was on also along with the timer light. what does this mean?

The color wheel bearings are failing thus it will not sync properly and as a result the lamp doesn't get the enable signal and the LED indicators will blink like the lamp is bad when the third attempt fails and the set shuts off.
I recommend a technician replace and align the color wheel, but there are people who have done it and posted it on you-tube. I have watched these and they will work, but there are steps they leave out that my cause an undesirable picture until it's aligned properly.
