Shadow Line On Left Edge

My TV, Samsung HL61A750 has developed a shadow bar on the left edge of the screen about 1" wide. Any ideas on the cause? Thanks Alex

there is an adjustment knob on the inside of the TV close to the mirror housing. Over time the TV can get out of focus and this needs to be adjusted. There are some tutorials online that may help it is fairly simple.
