Charging Port Is Broken, Bought Phone Less Than A Year Ago Is It Under Warranty?

i bought my samsung galaxy s3 in october, the charging port is broken, i don't want an entire new phone, i just want the port replaced. since it's been under a year it should be under warranty? and if so will they replace the charging port, i don't want to have to get a new phone and start all over with setting it to my likings and such again

Most Samsung phones are covered by a 2-year warranty so you should be covered. Unfortunately they will likely send you a replacement instead of repairing it. You usually don't have any choice in the matter.
