Throttle Problems- No Idle
I have had this saw for a year under light use. It is a great saw, but a week ago started not going back to idle and runs like the throttle is slightly open. The throttle cable is fine. The idle screw has ZERO effect. I can't figure it out. Carb is very clean and it runs great, it just won't idle.

I just had the same problem. I bought the saw about six months ago (used it twice) and when I started it up the idle ran like it was at full. Turns out that the adjustment is the low idle screw. It may be a little junked up and starving the mixture causing it to race. I did not run it dry over the winter like I was supposed to. Mine was extreme so I had to make a full turn counter clockwise to get it to slow back to a normal idle. I have some sea foam in it now and once it cleans out I may have to make the adjustment back to normal.
