Ryobi Grinder Suddenly Quit Working ... ?
I was using the grinder when the wheel caught on a sharp angle of the work piece and the grinder suddenly stopped and would not operate after that even though I checked all breakers, cords, and connections. Does it have a fuse or an 'overload' wire as a safety device in the trigger that can be replaced?

Some items of equipment have thermal trips built into the power switch though I would guess that the Ryobi would not. I have found the user manual but it has no mention of an internal fuse.

If your power cable has a fused plug it would be worth checking that or else the only other possible suspect is a broken brush when it jammed. That would require dis-assembly. If you have a multi-meter you can check out the supply wires to the the switch in case the mains cable has fractured inside. You then must decide the course of action you need to take. Repair or replace.
