Ryobi A25rt02 Fence Problem

I recently bought a RYOBI A25RT02 Router Table.  I'm very pleased with it but can't figure out why the infeed and outfeed fences do not match up?  The infeed fence seems to be set back about 1/32" from the outfeed fence.  I checked a display model at a local Home Depot that had the same problem.  Design flaw? I have tried every adjustment I can find/think of short of sanding and/or shimming.  Help please!  If shimming is the only solution how would one accomplish that so that it was at least semi permanent?   Thanks for your help Mike
