Cannot Connect To Smb Server
Suddenly my scanner says 'cannot connect to SMB Server' why is this - how do I correct this?

If you could scan before and now suddenly you can't, most likely something on your network has changed. Here are the most probable causes:
- A computer password was changed, but not updated at the scanner. (If you changed your computer password, you'll need to put the new password into the scan settings so the scanner can access the folder.)
- A network cable, switch, or other device is experiencing a connection problem. Try pinging the scanner from the computer that you scan to and see if the computer "sees" the scanner.
- The scanner's settings were changed. This can happen by accident, from another user (if there is one) or sometimes just by a spike or dip in the power supply. Check your scanner settings to be sure the correct path and credentials (if required) are still there.
- A computer password was changed, but not updated at the scanner. (If you changed your computer password, you'll need to put the new password into the scan settings so the scanner can access the folder.)
