How To Power Down A Ricoh Aficio Mp C5000 Printer

Hi, the correct (and best) way to power down a Ricoh Aficio MP C5000 is to first press the round power button on the right side of the operation panel so that the screen turns off. The green button should blink for a few seconds (possibly a minute or so) and then stop blinking. Once it stops blinking, turn the main power off by flipping the orange switch located to the left of the first paper tray. That will completely shut off power to the machine.

This way is the preferred method for shutting the copier down, to avoid any damage to the machine's circuitry or the hard drive.
