Scan Pdf Default Not Tif Default

Is there a way to change the default scan to scan in PDF without having to manually change this function everytime someone scans a document? The system currently defaults to TIF so the user must make this change to each scanned item.

Hi, you can set up PDF as the default file type by selecting PDF on the scanner screen and then pressing the Program button. Select Program as Default, and confirm your choice, and then PDF will be saved as the default file type from then on.
