I Have An Rca Rt2870r Home Theater Receiver. No Speakers, Components, Or Antenna
I have an RCA RT2870R Home Theater Receiver. No speakers, components, or antennas hook up to it. Plug in the power cord and the orange ring around the ON/STANDBY button lights up. Push the power button and the blue ring around the volume instantly lights up and a second or two later the WELCOME screen comes on. It all stops right there. At that point no button works on it at all...even then power button. But the blue ring and the WELCOME sign stay on. I have to unplug it from the wall and plug it back in and the whole process starts all over. I am ok with some lite soldering repairs if I know for sure what it is but my knowledge of testing this type of equipment is very minimal. Someone on this site even spoke of a way to hold the power button on start up for a reset but that didn't work either. Any info you can provide will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for your time.
