Music

On my computer, after I have moved music from iTunes onto my device, I click on the button that says "Safely Remove Hardware and Eject Media." It then says the device is able to be moved safely. I then look at my music on my mp3 player, which has none of the songs i just moved from iTunes to my mp3 player. Do you have any idea why?
