The Remote Controller For My Dvd/cd Rca Drc255n Does Not Work.

This DVD player was part of a sale from ShopTV channel about 3-4 years ago. Theremote controller has gone out and will not work. I installed new batteries but still no go. When I operate the DVD/CD plal]yer by hand it works but this means no remote control.
