OPEN/CLOSE CONTROL Press this key at any play mode will always turn to disc play mode.
Press the " relevant " key on remote control to choose the output mode.
Press IN PUT key can transfer to the reception of a radio, then press (FM/AM] key on the machine or on the remote control, the machine will turn into FM/AM mode, and the display shows the frequency and the channel number of the current radio station

I have to assume these are different sound effects such as more bass, more ambience, surround sound, 'hall' effect, 'stadium' effect, 'dance' etc.. but the manual is so badly written (and the unit itself so disorganized), it's hard to tell what each mode means. There is nothing about it in the manual. I can only suggest playing some music you're very familiar with and see if you can find out what each mode does, or at least find a mode you like more than the others. (The other person who replied doesn't understand the question being asked.)
