My Treadmill Has Suddenly Stopped Working Properly

I found a small washer like item on the floor could this be what has caused the issue? It starts and after a couple of turns the belt stops. Please can you let me know if 110 Euros plus parts which is what the official technical service charges for coming to visit is worth paying to fix this. Thanks

A washer that has come off could definitely be indicative of a big problem. If the washer came off, that means the nut holding it on is also missing, and possibly the bolt as well.

Whether the price is worth it or not depends on how much you use the treadmill, and whether you want to try fixing it yourself. You can view the parts diagram here, which shows all of the parts so maybe you can figure out where that washer goes. If it's not too internal, you could try fixing it yourself.
