What Is The Problem When ' Power Off ' Is Indicated Vsx -d510

I find that tapping on the main board near to the audio power amplifiers will induce the problem and pressing gently on the power amp heat sink so that it moves slightly will also induce the problem. I ran out of time to continue but my next move will be to look under the board for bad and cold solder joints. I will report success if there is any and nothing to lose if it never works again, it's useless now as it is.
