I Have An Amp Error
What to do with an AMP ERROR..??!?! Can I, as a technician, solve this problem myself? Where to find instructions?

Hi you will need to obtain the two hybrid Ic's numbered IC301 and IC302 the part No from Pioneer is STK402-240 and STK402-040, you will need high quality soldering equipment (0 volts) and a antistatic mat and wrist strap and clip. carefully dissassemble the amplifier, perhaps take a couple of pics with mobile phone during this process just for reference for yourself.
Replace the chips and not forget to put adequate heat transfer paste on heatsinks.
check and clean fan on the end of heatsink assy for adequate operation, note it is switched on buy thermister screwed on heatsink
It helps if you get schematic diagram, ask Pioneer you might get lucky, just check voltages etc, but this is a common falilure from overheating for extended periods,
