There are three different recorder IDs. When set to RECORDER 1
Recorder2 or Recorder3, the remote control mode is
shown in the front panel display

maybe you change the code id by inadvertance, check on the display when you push on remote button to see wich id is 1 or 2 or 3 and try this to match the remote wirth the unit

To set the remote, press and hold RETURN and a number
button (1, 2 or 3) until the indicator on the remote lights approx 10 sec.
