Bobbin Winder Will Not Engage To Wind
Bobbin winder will not engage to wind. What do i do to engage?

The two most common problems are that you either need a new bobbin tire, or just need to adjust the position of the winder a little closer to the hand wheel. Remove the top cover and you will see the winder assembly. Loosen the two screws that hold the assembly nudge it closer to the hand wheel side. If you move it too far the winder will constantly spin. Also, examine the rubber tire, it may have a flat spot on it in which case it needs to be replaced. If it is worn out you may not be able to tell just by looking at it.
These winders can be tricky to adjust but why not try?

How do I clean my bobbin winder?
To get all the rubbish out of the thread and the teeth which engage when the winder is in motion, I used a tiny bit of metal polish on an old toothbrush and rubbed it off with a cloth afterwards. To clean the black japanned parts of the winder, I used a tiny drop of sewing machine oil on a dab of cotton wool.

Why is my bobbin winder not working?
Bobbin winder stopped working (bobbin winder not working, bobbin not winding, bobbin stopped winding) ... Check if the thread is passed through the bobbin winding guide correctly. Check if there are scratches or other defects on the bobbin. Replace the bobbin if in doubt.
