Resistence Slippage

I have tighten the belt accoriding to the owners manual (page23) and still get slippage. The belt is pretty tight. Is there something else I can do or is it a warranty issue?

If the belt is tight then the problem may lie in conaminates getting on the belt, wheel and/or rear pulley. Disassemble the cover shields and pedels like you did when you tightened the belt and clean the belt, wheel and pulley with a rag dampened with soapy water. So none of the internal electrical parts  get water damage leave the machine unplugged with the covers off for several hours. If this doesnt help then the belt may be worn out and needs replaced.
